Hadassah International Israel gala event together with Biderman Private Art Collection

Hadassah International Israel held a gala event at the Tel Aviv Hilton Hotel last week together with Biderman Private Art Collection, which contributed 50 works of art crated by leading Israeli artists. The gallery owner, Efraim Biderman, is a member of the Hadassah Board of Trustees, donating a portion of the revenues to the acquisition of a PET-CT machine intended to benefit cancer patients.

“Wine and Food in Israeli Art” Exhibition

Starting on Thursday, 3 September 2015, and going on until Saturday night, the gallery will display a new exhibition in the holiday spirit. The exhibition will present realistic works by artists Michael and Dima Gorban, Natasha Brilantova and Yacov Carmeli. Many artists applied different styles to paintings of food throughout history. Paintings of food provided a clear means for describing life during a certain period. The new group exhibition at Biderman Private Art Collection in Kfar Shmaryahu presents paintings of food and wine in contemporary Israeli culture through realistic and naturalistic paintings.

“Summer in Israeli Art” exhibition

The exhibition will introduce visitors with the impact of Israeli light, as it reflects on summer images and warm climate depictions in Israeli art. The exhibition will display rare works that present the Israeli landscape during the summer, including the sea and blue skies, such as works by Eisensher and Abramovich, portraying the figure of an Israeli enjoying summer at the beach; pieces displaying the suburbs are represented by Uri Reisman and Leo Ray in a transition from figurative painting to the line between naïve and abstract and lyrical painting. The exhibition includes works by Leah Nikel, Michael Gross, Rafi Lavi and others, subjecting “Israeli Summer” to a symbolic and conceptual touch.

Aquarelle Exhibition by leading Israeli artists

The Kfar Saba Municipal Gallery will launch an aquarelle exhibition by leading Israeli artists between 17 February and 27 march 2015. To this end, we contributed many pieces of our collection. You are welcome to come and see.
