A painter, a sculptor and a publicist. Born in 1933. Immigrated with his family to Israel from Germany in 1935.
Learned sets designing in the technical school until 1949. In 1953, after his military service, Tomarkin had returned to Germany and there he designed sets for Bertold Brect's acts and for "The Ensemble Berliner".
He continued designing sets in Germany, in the Netherlands and in Israel until 1956. In this year he had also presented his art works in Amsterdam.
Tomarkin has presented in dozens exhibitions in Israel and around the world. His works of art can be found in many important museums and collections in Israel and throughout the world.
